Interesting little gadget, but between the climb cut in the video and the requirement to have my fingers that close to the spinning bit. I think I'll pass.

Interesting tool. You could easily make a guard to keep fingers from the bit. With the work clamped down and a two handed grip on a router taking a very thin cut, I see no problem with the climb cutting. Climb cutting would eliminate any tear out from that finish cut.

Looks like it'd take a fair amount of practice to get consistent results with that attachment.

Interesting idea anyway.
