Can polyurethane be sprayed over a Danish oil? Any ill effects?

Thanks,
Jim

If the danish oil is well and truly dry/aged, it should not be a problem. However, there are so many variations of danish oil that I would test coat an inconspicuous area first to make sure that the polyurethane both dries and sticks. Cheers

Wayne is right, shouldn't be a problem as long as the Danish oil has completely cured. However, you can run into problems if you plan to apply it on oily exotics.
