These guys showed up on my doorstep, so now I have to take care of them.

No choice but to buy a big lathe to stick em on now, because my Delta Midi just won't be strong enough.

Forced my hand. Gotta do it. It's only right.

Brilliant - tell your wife you bought the wrong size chucks so now you need a new lathe that they will fit on. :D

Have you decided on your next gloat - I mean lathe?

I can sympathize. It is out of your hands.

I had a small, cheap lathe and was forced in the name of decency to replace it with a Jet 1642. And then, through no fault of my own, a multiplying chuck situation and having too much room in the shop forced me to acquire a PM 3520b. And a spare 1642 for good measure. And a couple of minis just in case.

You can't blame yourself, it's not your fault. It is your destiny.

Brian, The supernova chuck is the perfect size for a Delta midi lathe. I use one on my 12" swing 1HP lathe. The Titan chuck might fit, but I like your idea of upgrading to a new lathe. :)

It'd be sacrilege not to put them on a big, shiny new lathe!

And make it the last lathe you'll buy. It's cheaper that way. Don't make the mistake I made with table saws - numerous, small upgrades. Five table saws later, I have a SawStop.

Ya know what that means, right? Robust! :)
