You're in the middle of production for the one show a year you do and this happens?

I'm actually off crutches as of last week but definitely put a crimp in what I have ready. I know I should start earlier each year but you know how that goes.

WOW!!! That had to be painful. How long ago did that happen? That will take some time to get back to normal. Even though your no longer on crutches you will be dealing with it for a while to come yet. Hope you get back to full speed soon.

Don't know how you managed a smile and thumbs up. Looks like it probably took more screws and plates to fix your leg than to build a picnic table.

Hope it heals quick.

Must have been in total shock to be smiling thumbs up. Wow! Good luck with recovery.

They put in a rod and some screws so it's weight bearing as tolerated. It happened the middle of august. Yeah, I don't have to worry about playing soccer for a while.

Sorry about the injury, but can't wait to show this to my 6 and 9yo boys before soccer practice tonight!

Ouch!
When I saw the pic on the grass I was thinking optical illusion, or some digital manipulation. Then I saw the x-ray. Holy cow! I thought it was bad when I blew out my knees (yes plural) and it put the brakes on my turning. First surgery was easy and back to turning in two weeks. Second surgery not so fast. I still have trouble standing at the lathe. After seeing your x-ray, I can see what a total wimp I am. Good luck on the healing, and I hope you are turning again soon.
