Hi,

My X-AXIS stepper motor on ULS V-460 just die after 10 years.
Unfortunately there is no replacement part available in my country.
Can someone point me where to find specification of this stepper?
I already know that it is NEMA17 bipolar stepper motor with 400 steps/rev.

I have replaced stock motor with 42HM40-1684 1,6A, 3.3kg/cm holding torque.
It works but unfortunately it cannot reach speed over 60% of stock motor and it overheats.
Any clues?

Maybe someone in your area or country may be of help......if only we knew where you were..

not sure if this is the correct replacement but I am positive the parts are out here somewhere...

Is it the right motor and the correct voltage? Over heats and only gets to 60% speed could be something else besides the motor. Perhaps the bearings or carriage is binding ?

I'm working on a rotary axis for my ULS X-600 and I did some research to find out the motors are 2 amp, .9º step. Here is the one I purchased:

I don't know that your machine is the same, or if this motor would fit, but it's comparable to my motors.
