Beam alignment

When I press the laser fire button I can see the the tube glow brightly but it does not leave a burn mark on the tape on mirror #1. The amp meter registers 20 amps when fired. Could the tube be bad?

Do some research lots of questions just like yours, and its 20 mA not 20 amps.

20 amps holy molly you must have burn a hole right thru the mirror:eek:;)
