As part of my work today we fell some mesquite trees. I picked thru and got some pieces for myself. Our shift ended at four, so what happens between now and tomorrow morning who knows, we are going to be putting anything left over in some large roll-off dumpsters on Thursday.

Did I mention this is in the Hassayampa elementary school parking lot? Be careful.

I should have asked, I applied some rockler green wood end sealer, but do you people who get green wood in there phoenix area leave it outside? Can I leave it outside? Covered? Or must I keep it in my garage?

I'm on the east side, wish it were closer or I would cruise by for it. I leave mine outside until I cut it to blanks. If it's going for bowls I leave the whole log in tact and just seal the ends and leave it outside until I'm ready for it, or it's ready for me. If I had space inside I would bring it in.

I'm in Chandler and keep mine in the garage after Anchorseal, both in log form and pith out.

Thanks for the storing info. I came across a shelf we were throwing out at work, 2' x 8' x 5' tall. I am going to reconfigure my garage a bit and have wood rack.
