There's a lot of beautiful boat watching too. Many marinas to see any size and type of craft your heart desires. ;)

John, I don't know what's going on in Sarasota these days, but while you're there, check to see if there is still a Restaurant on Longboat Key called, "Moores Stonecrab Restaurant", and if they're still there and have the same Owners, I'd bet the quality is still what it used to be when I lived there in '73/'74, and if this is the case, you won't find any Stonecrabs that are better, ANYWHERE.
