Hi all:
This is my first attempt to build an entire set of kitchen cabinets. I'm making kitchen cabinets for our fire station. I've made the cabinet boxes from 3/4" plywood, the face frames and doors made from 13/16" cherry. I have the Blum 110 degree top clip hinges, I was directed by Blum phone support to buy the 173H7130 clips for the face frame installation. Now that I have both hinges and clips, it's apparent that I have the wrong clip for face frame installation. I could make blocking to attach the clip to the cabinet sides......or use the Blum clip # BH175H7100. Not sure what is the best solution as I've never used Blum closures before....Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks
Ed

Personally I would just block them out. Why spend more money. Blocking is free.

I think thats what I'll do.......blocking seems like it would be sturdier that way too.
Thanks

175L6600.22 for a 5/8" overlay with a 5mm tab.
175L6630.22 for a 1/2" overlay with a 5mm tab.
175L6660.22 for a 3/8" overlay with a 5mm tab.

It hooks on the face frame. They're so easy to install it's ridiculous.
