Thought I would try out my new Dust Deputy on my router table. I was immediately impressed after I filled the first 5 gal bucket and yet there was no observable filling of the shop vac bag. So after emptying it, I started another batch of prefinished baltic birch drawer sides that I was milling drawerlock joints in. I noticed the smell of more wood dust than normal, but just kept going. I then looked down in horror as I saw my shiny new orange dust bucket had collapsed due to a clog in the vac hose between the router table and the Dust Deputy. It turned out to be clogs in the hose from some long strips of tear out from the BB ply. Lesson learned.....stop and check everything if I notice a sudden increase in wood dust smell again. :o

On a side note, the Dust Deputy works great and I was somewhat surprised at how much suction my vac pulls.

That's some suction!

Hope the hot weather is not too bad in Palm Springs.
