Hello all,

I'm looking for a good overview for learning about different types of drawer joints and sliders. I am not interested in the modern use of factory produced sliders. I want to construct the drawers and sliders from solid wood. I really like the style of Marc Spagnuolo but he doesn't have any "chest of drawers" videos which is what I'm trying to design. ANy help or reference material links would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't mind an alternative opinion I'd say don't use sliders or glides at all. Furniture from hundreds of years ago work fine with the drawer inside an opening with no "hardware." I'm sitting at a writing table I made twenty years ago with three poplar drawers faced with walnut. I was taught how to fit them and they work fine, I expect they will for some time to come. Because drawers slides depend on either screws or glue and can fail with time. They would probably require fitting that is going to be time consuming with no real benefit. My humble opinion.
