I left South Georgia this past weekend and visited my uncle and family in Massachusetts. Even though I do not believe in love at first sight it happened, and I must confess I fell head over heals in love. I tried to sweet talk her into coming back to Georgia with me but she would not budge. She still abides by the Grand Locke in Lowell, Mass. I have included her picture below. The only problem is I did not get her name, can you help me?

That tree is a guy. Don't be fooled man......

Break away while you can. It's OK :-)

The tree is a Locust. More than likely Yellow Locust. Very cool looking tree!

Yep, that is a locust tree and a beautiful one. She won't break your heart, but she sure can wreak havoc on your saw blades. :D

As a Massachusan (or Masshole, as the New Hampster folks call us), I'd like her address

... me and my chain saw can sneak over in the middle of the night!

:D

Hey Glenn!
In the first photo, there is a burl on that tree that really looks a lot like you!!!! LOL

I hope you can get that tree when they decide to have it removed! But wait, I'm only 2-1/2 hrs from Lowell - I bet I can beat you to it!!!

Black locust. I'm sure you could pull something nice off with her too. I come across alot of burly ones at work. Next time I have the chainsaw with me I'll get you one and send it off if you like. I fear that stuff.

Glenn....I'd name her Treesa. If she won't come willingly, just club her and drag her into your cave.

Nice Work Loy!

Yep, that's "Burly Girl" . Her big cousin lives in my mother-in-law's backyard. It's a Box Elder that is all burled and so big you can only lay up against it (not hug it). It's right next to the house. I will one day get the bugger too - that is my vow.

Sometimes we just have to be patient. I was always told that true love will survive and endure!
