Just put the Powermatic in a few months ago and they drop the SawStop in my lap. Now I gotta make this one work. Anybody got some aspirins?

I think that some "surgery" is in order :p
Do the runners line up? I assume no, that would be to convenient.

Do you keep both or only one? if both then put them back to back.

Why would I do that?

A definite upgrade! I can think of worse problems to have. ;)

You can install the new one into the outfeed table of the old one; then install a rip blade in one and cross-cut on the other (or dado, etc).
They use each other as out-feed table, saves room. Take a look at this one: http://vintagemachinery.org/photoindex/images/4290-B.jpg

Problem is I don't have time as I'm backed up at work. I may and try to put my helper with maintenance to get it done next week. It's a bit wider and deeper than the Powermatic.
I asked for the Powermatic slider as they are going to remove it from service but got turned down. I'll probably pitch a fit as I want the slider for the SawStop;)

It will never happen. I find those setups silly and dangerous....
