I don't know how else to describe it. I start my vector cut and for the first few moments it works fine then slowly fades out to just the machine making the motions but no cut.

I've cleaned everything, rebooted everything, aligned mirrors, checked connections, cleaned magnetic safety areas on all the doors, ensured the lid is closing properly. I'm stumped. This is the first time since I purchased the machine that I haven't been able to figure out what was keeping it from running.

Sounds like the tubes going how old is it?

Have you checked to see if it works in some places on the table but not others? As in, beam misalignment issue?

Do you have a meter on the machine? Knowing the power output would tell a lot.

My suspicions (as mentioned by others above) would be in the following order:

Tube Failing
Badly out of alignment or dirty/cracked lens
Power supply failing

The tube and the machine are 7 years old.
Metered the power supply and it was fine.
The mirrors are good and clean and aligned.

I think you need to measure the beam coming out at the laser hear with a power meter.7 years with a lot of use sounds more like a tube, how many hours on the tube?

If its a RF metal tube, even 7 years is a lot. Evergreen Laser has recharged several for people on here. Other than a loose connection or plug...
