Ken Rizza of WoodTurners Wonders has spherical washers for mounting a CBN wheel to a bench grinder but not for a 1" arbor. I found one (link below) with a 1/16" oversize on the ID. Is this enough clearance to allow the movement needed for proper alignment or should I get one a little larger?

I use Ken's on three CBN wheels with 5/8" shafts and they are a "loose" fit. But I don't think you need very much movement - it just needs to be able to correct very tiny irregularities in the nut surface. If you found 1/16" was not enough for some reason a grinding wheel on a Dremel could probably enlarge it.

BTW, Ken also provides a hardened flat washer in his kit which I didn't need to use on any of the wheels.
