3 new turnings

I just finished 3 more pieces, bigleaf maple burl vessel, Norfolk pine and walnut burl. the finish on all of them is laquer after they were soaked in my watco barrel. the Nip bowl soaked a lot longer though, about 200 hours total in 18 sessions. the other bowls just for 24 hours.

Very impressive work there! So you soak them in a bucket/tub of Watco? Are these from dry or green wood?

the NIP bowls are turned green, the vessel and walnut bowl were dry.
i have a 55gallon steel barrel filled with about 40gallons of watco.
