Turning Port Orford Cedar.

Has anyone turned Port Orford Cedar and is it worth the effort? Friend had to fall two 100 year old cedars and wanted to know if I want any. Have read a lot about Red Cedar and all the problems it has. Let me know what your experience is. Thanks and Happy Birthday America.

I turned this from Port Orford Cedar. It turns fine, but is pretty soft (as in it dents easily) so I would only turn a piece that is for "looks" not for "use"
