Special Pen Stand - Both turned and square

Here is a photo of a special pen stand. The round Rosewood stand has a corner of a cube cutout in the top for the cube to sit in. Makes people ask"How did he do that"? Cube is a puzzle with company sayings engraved on all sides.

Finish question - I used enduro brush on for the base - Any suggestions for a spray can, spray on finish? I have more of these to do.

Almost forgot - The pen is a Cocobolo Statesman.

Very nice, Pete. I like how you have done this. For your finish question, since these are all small items: If you are finishing one at a time, Deft lacquer or Zinsser shellac in the spray can. (spray outdoors) If you are finishing them as batch, a small HVLP conversion gun with either NC lacquer or waterbourne acrylic would be fast and give you a great finish. (I only spray waterbourne)
