Which range relay should be used with 10 HP sub. motor in three phase

If I understand the question(relay)or(starter) you need to look on the name plate to see the amp rating is for your voltage.But if your making yourself a phase converter then you will need a contactor rated for the amps with OL's.If this motor is on a machine then you will need a starter rated for that motor.As you can tell my knowledge is limited.Look over on the auction site for starters and contactors

If you are asking about a motor starter, it should be size 2 if 240 v. Dave

and if its three phase what about DOL or SEMI starter should be used
