A large scale hack of vbulletin was reported by zdnet:

The hack was of Vertical Scope - which used vbulletin for most of its forums. So, not necessarily an issue here, but if you happen to be a “jock” you might want to at least change your password...

Many of the Forums that were exposed were running older versions of the software and it seems that all of them were hosted on a limited number of servers. SawMill Creek is not associated with any of the servers involved. Our server Admin will be looking into this to determine the security of our system as it relates to vBulletin.
