A transcribed phone message in my in-box a few minutes ago has me shaking in my boots (yawn):

Voicemail from (315) 207-3694

"Hours in the local County Sheriff are going to arrest you for five criminal allegations. So before this matter goes to the court house and you get arrested. Kindly get back to us at 315-207-3694. I repeat 315-207-3694. Now if you don't return the call then the only thing that I can do is wish you good luck."

You'll probably want to liquidate some tools.

I only wish my parents were able to find the humor in these the same way you do Ole. They call me panicked everytime they get a message about being under investigation for tax fraud, or that a warrant is out for their arrest, or that they will be deported tomorrow, etc. Aging sucks. The scammers do it because it works.

Wouldn't it be great if there were some superheroes that would track these guys down and show them the errors of their ways?

Maybe we should tell them they have reached The Federal Bureau of Investigation and that their numbers have been traced and Seal Team 6 is on their way.:D ooRa

You're about to be arrested for helping a Nigerian Prince embezzle state funds out of his country !

I think you can beat the rap, but when they come for you, just don't let them see that Sawstop you got off Craigslist for $500.
It might be stolen .....
