About ready to pull the plug on buying the Laguna. Would really welcome any and all input good or bad. Have been turning on a Nova 1624 44 for the last few years but want to get into green bowls. This one for the price seems to meet most of my needs. Again welcome all commits.

I'm looking at that same lathe myself, its that one or the Grizzly g0766. I just wish Laguna had a better customer service record. Not sure where you are buying from but its on sale at craft supplies.

I think Laguna has improved their service. While I have not needed anything along those lines, I have had a pleasant and prompt email exchange with the son of the owner and manages a portion of the company.
