Leveling my planer deck.

I have a Yorkcraft planer that I have been using now for while. I have noticed that the infeed deck is not quite level with the blade deck and the outfeed deck. It drops off a bit. Is it supposed to be level? Wood planes well but board pops up a bit when it first goes into planer.
