I just bought a couple of gallons of Multibond 2000 glue from a friend who had a 5 gallon bucket. This amount might last me only a year, but might last a couple of years or more - I use Gorilla glue or epoxy in some situations for instance so the Multibond won't get used exclusively.

I'm aware most glues have a shelf life, and I wonder if Bloxygen is useful in storing glue? Anyone have any good advice on this? Thank you.

Well, when I took over my present high school wood shop I found six or seven five gallon pails of Elmer's yellow carpenter glue, all but one unopened, from the late 80s. I gave most of it away to other shop teachers, and after mixing it with a drywall mud mixer on a big drill motor, it works fine. I have bought Titebond and Elmer's in gallons for my home shop for 25 years; a gallon normally lasts a couple of years unless I have a really big project, and I've never had any problems.

Sounds good, thanks Dave.
