I stumbled across this site that seems to have information on nearly every species of wood you can imagine. They allow guest memberships and charge for full memberships but provide a lot of information without becoming a full member.

I was looking for some information on a wood called cicique. Joe Tonich gave me a piece of it and I knew nothing until I went to this site. Now I mostly know nothing and a little about cicique.... :p :D
Cicique is also known as bloodwood, pau rainha and is scientifically known as Brosmium rubescens....You may use that at your next cocktail party and I will guarantee the ladies will swoon....
