I highly recommend the book Treasure Chests -The Legacy of Extraordinary Boxes by Lon Schleining (ISBN: 1-56158-651-X).

Doug Stowe books are some of the best box books on the market today. He is clear, and concise in his books. He doesn't only tell you HOW to do each phase and make each part....but he also explains why. He has achieved the status of one of the top writters on box making. Give him a try....I believe that you will NOT be disappointed.

No affiliation....just a very happy reader of his books.

I am as well Dennis, after seeing some great looking boxes here, I ordered 2 of his books. I love them. That is why I am looking for others on the subject, to pick up some other info on construction techiniques, etc. I would have loved to have been at the picnic to meet Doug Stowe and listen to him.
