So here it is, off the lathe, will complete the base for the light later. 652 pieces of Bubinga, Purpleheart, Ebony, colored veneers, a Cherry "Dark Side of the Moon" on the interior, with 32 stained glass craters.

Always trying to stretch both my skills, and boundaries of what has been done previously. The stained glass came from my dad's collection, and more material where that came from, and so it may not be the last time I try to incorporate that into a wooden / glass mix. Ah the ideas they are already turning.....
