I knew it would come to me eventually. I finally remembered the name of that wood I used in the little box I pictured here earlier in the week! At the time all I could come up with was Rocky Balboa or Ginko Biloba but I knew they weren't right. Bubinga!

Bubinga it very nice wood, just beautiful. There is a cut of bubinga that is very popular especially for veneer and it's called 'water fall'. Absolutely gorgeous. Looks like continuous sheets of water flowing down. Dometimes you can even find it in cut boards (stealth gloat).

Glad you remembered it, for you surely will want to use it again.
