Trotec Owners: New Trotec Speedy 400 First Start Up "Engraver Door Is Open"

Just received our Speedy 400 today. The machine turns on then simply stays on, no referencing, and has a rapid blinking green light which I am reading is an indicator that the cabinet door is open. Is this normal? All doors are closed, nothing is open.

Sales rep is coming down on Thursday but I'd like to save him a two hour drive down my way if there is a technical issue with this machine.

Hi John,

This is normal. All new laser purchases are followed up with a rep install visit. During this visit, your rep will install your machine and inspect all doors and panels to make sure its in working order.

A quick call to Tech support got me dialed in. Machine ready and waiting for the rep to do the first run through. I am salivating...
