Went to an antique store this weekend and found two interesting items. One was a Stanley 80 cabinet scraper. It's in good shape but missing a blade, so I got it for $15. By the time I buy a replacement blade from LV, I'll have $30 in it, which is about the going rate for these on the bay. I've heard good things about these tools and I'm looking forward to trying it out.
Second item was a nearly mint #7 hollow. No Maker's Mark. I gave him $15 for it, which seemed fair. He also had two beading planes at $15 each, but I just ordered the upgrade kit for my LV plow so I passed. (Both were single bead irons.)
Not a bad day.:)
