Corel X7 Question

Is there any way to stop the backup files to be stored in the same folder as the original file ??? I created a specific folder for the backup files to go in and, they do go in that file but, they still go in the original folder TOO... Its driving me nuts !!! It is cluttering up all of my folders

I've never found a solution for that problem on ANY version of Corel. I just gave up trying long ago. Within every folder I use often I just create another folder called !bu -- it's on top, and I just group and drag the backup files to it.

You can change where the backup file is stored: go to Tools - Options - Workspace - Save, and change the location of where the backup file is stored, I created a separate Corel Backup file and store everything in there. I can then easily find the files and delete them as necessary.

I tried that Chuck but, now they go to both places. My new backup file And the original file. Guess I will have to keep manually moving them
