Michelle, I was wondering what the best source for a replacement motor is. But if someone has one sitting around and they'd like to sell it for a bargain price, that would be great, too.

sorry Russell, this old 3000 has been a workhorse for 30 yrs and still going strong. I wondered if you needed to know the old numbers on it or i.d. it so you knew how to replace it. hope someone can help you

I have the motor from my Nova 162444 available if it would fit, in very good condition.. I have recently upgraded my lathe to DVR replacement.
