Bosch ROS 3107DVS

I have a Bosch ROS model 3107DVS, I believe the hook and loop is dying as the discs are not staying affixed very well any longer. I'm looking to replace it but it appears there are (now) two styles. A soft (RS031) and a hard (RS032). I was wondering if any one knew how to tell which backing pad I currently have. I could not see any parts number on the one on the sander.

Anthony, mine is many years old butt it came with the soft. I very quickly changed it to the hard pad though.

I have a similar Bosch ROS. I agree with John Z. I would switch to hard also. I would think there would be less rounding near the edges when sanding.
