Hoping to tap into some knowledge here. I recently bought a used PM3520a. I decided I needed a remote on/off switch since when hollowing I'm often on the other side of the lathe. I looked around at some of the designs folks had made, and went with this one for simplicity; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jchwIF3O_Ys it appears the wiring is a bit different on the 3520a compared to the b, at least the colors of wires are different. I wired mine up to the 2 wires of the original on/off switch, works fine, but it disables the original. The guy in the video says the original can still be used. Anyone set up something like this on a 3520a? any insights would be appreciated...

Been there done that, the instructions they have are to basically take the whole control unit out, put it in a remote box, and cover the hole, not what I'm looking to do...
