Hammer A3-31 Question

I'm installing the fence on my J/P and need some help. The fence slide knob located behind the fence comes with 3 washers. 2 nylon and a metal one. Where are they supposed to be situated exactly? Above or below the slide or some other configuration? Thanks for any help, Sean

One nylon washer under the plate, one on top the plate, the metal washer directly under the knob to cover the top nylon washer.
