Just thought I'd share.
I have been working on a coffee table on and off since January. I used black walnut, some maple I had lying around, and recycled bloodwood flooring. I used hand cut Mortise and tenon joinery on most joints. I had no plan when I started building it, and just wanted a small project to work on while I worked on setting up a home workshop (I'm currently trying to graduate from dental school so funds and time were limited). I'm actually concerned that the bloodwood may become an issue in the future, man is that stuff hard, also I think that the flooring grade may not be the best quality. Finished with polymerized tung oil.
