I am gluing up to pieces of 1/4 mdf for a jig. The plan calls for using contact cement for the glue up. I have always used just wood glue for gluing mdf. Any reason why I can't use my Titebond orig for this?
Thanks,
Corey

Me too. So at least you're not alone if we've been doing something wrong.

Corey, for what it's worth....I've done it both ways and both worked.

Corey, if it works, it works! :D I use regular glue as well and have not had any problems.

If there's going to be any stress on it, I would use the wood glue. Contact cement is little better than rubber cement. It will have some "give" to it.
