What a perfect answer to the handle question, not only do you have ferrules and end rings, you even have decals. Truly gloat worthy!

Now that is quite an acquisition, definitely worthy of a well deserved "YOU SUCK!" Congratulations!

How did you track those down?

I got in contact with an Englishman living in Eskiltuna because of a woman. He picked up a box full of them at a local auction. Stuff like that comes to the market sometimes when old emplyees die who has been keeping Stuff at the addict. I think he has more but they dont come cheap.

In my part of the world, they don't come at all. Ever. That is a great find!

Bruce. I don't know were you come from but my guess is the US of A. If that's the case you have nothing to complain about. At least when it comes to awailebility of Stuff to buy. :-)

I'm from Minnesota, nearly smack in the middle of the North American continent, and I can't complain about not having Berg chisels. I have nearly a full set of tanged Bergs, with several duplicates. But we don't have any NOS Berg chisel handles anywhere to be found. I do know one guy from Vancouver, BC, who has two complete sets, virtually new tang and socket Bergs. He sucks too! Two of my chisels I inherited from my grandfather, who was born somewhere between Eskilstuna and Stockholm. Oh yeah, plus one 1-1/4" Shark-o-Lite red handled one.

It's great to poses quality tools that you have inherited. Keep on to them.

You know, I'd really be jealous, if it weren't for the fact that I benefitted from Lasse's last amazing find. :)

(Thanks for those lovely blades & breakers, bro!)
