334819334820334821334822334824The first bowl is a PPTI (pierced, pyrography, turned, inlace bowl) Maple bowl 4" x 12" the second one is cherry and about the same dimensions.

Nice work, Robert! I like the negative space feature ring on that first bowl and the beading on the second one. Looks like you are putting that G0766 through a good workout. It is a fine machine.

I have been going thru lots of pieces lately. Trying to do them before they split. Sure like this lathe though, regardless if it is bowls or seam rippers, pens etc. it is fun to use.

I would like to know more about where the Grizzly, Jet and clones of these are made?

I have read that Griz is manufactured by the Burt Group in China. Google them and you'll see a lot of info. I don't know about Jet but it could be the same mfr.

Correct for the G0766, G0733, G0698 and perhaps the G0632.....not sure on that last model, but the G0632 uses the same inverter as the Jet & Powermatic -the Delta S-1 inverter.
