The arm to tighten on the screw thread is like a paddle and doesn't lend itself to put a small tube cheater to save your wrists when tightening a lot of clamps. Any ideas on how to get that done?

Generally speaking, you don't need a lot of torque on clamps to get adequate clamping pressure. I don't have that brand of clamps, but have some that are very similar and I've never needed extra leverage to get more than enough clamping pressure.

I'm with Lee on how much pressure you need, but if you want to try something else, here is what I've seen. Get a good sized 1/2" drive socket, cut a slot across it's diameter. The slot needs to be wide enough to take the handle of the clamp. Then, put a ratchet on the socket. This works very well on a clamping rack at a kitchen shop that I hang around in. The handles on the rack are very similar to those on the Jorgensen clamps. Using a thick walled impact gun socket keeps the socket from breaking apart.
