Hi Guys and gals
Subject is vibrations through the head caused by the axis travel
The head traverses quietly on the x axis and again on the y axis in straight lines.
As soon as the x&y combine to give diagonal or curves there is a mechanical whirring sound which causes vibration to the head resulting in rough cuts.
Anyone help or suggest cause and cure
UPDATE
It would appear to be the bearing rollers, as I push the x axis up and down the y axis verry slowly I can feel a smooth bit (apx one inch travel) then a judder for the next 2inches, this repeats uniformly down the y axis.
Any one know where I can get the replacment track blocks from please (UK)
Cheers Michael
