Laguna Tools 16" HD

This is for sale near me for $900. I found an earlier post regarding the Laguna 16" HD, but the seller was asking considerable more. At this point I have been considering the Laguna 1412 or the Grizzly 17" for about the same price. Do you think this would be a better saw than the grizzly or 1412? Any advice would be appreciated. This will be my first bandsaw and am looking to have one to do a little resawing, but more curve/pattern cutting. Thanks.

The current version of that saw is $3500. It's a far cry better than a Grizzly of the same size. For $900, I'd buy it before someone else does.

If you get that saw for $900 make sure you get a bill of sale, otherwise you could be accused of stealing it. No pictures means it didn't happen. :)

That's an ACM saw. Unlikely you'd be able to find another Italian saw at that price point.
