This is on an auction. I have no idea what the make is, or anything about it. I'm looking for another table saw to set up for making the dado for drawer bottoms with a powerfeed for drawer parts. Currently no one is bidding on it. It kinda looks like the openings in the stand for the tilt have been welded shut? The controls look old euro, but I'm not certain. It's been repainted for sure.

Printers saw? Pretty useless in the real world.

Looks like the remnants of a Euro machine for sure. Once used to be a slider most likely. It is Italian, SCMI, EMA, SAC, Casadei or the like. Very slim possibility it is a Polish machine -Unitronix/Polamco or such as well.

Is it close enough you can possibly look at it? I agree the controls do look European with the symbols at the buttons. It looks heavy duty. Can the auction site offer any additional information? It might be a steal.....or a boat anchor. Good luck.

I'm guessing it was a slider as well by the cutout on the left side. The placement of the control panel is very odd, but it could have been moved as well.

I walked past it on the inspection date when I was looking at some other stuff, but I didn't take a close look at all. Just noticed it and that was it. The auction ends tomorrow. I wish I had taken a closer look, but I wasn't thinking. Almost no info on the lot information. If scrap were as high as it was a few years ago it'd could be worth $50 just recycling it. At ~$35/ton, not so much.

It's in a wood shop. I don't know. I had to google what a printers saw even was. I'm still not sure. lol

It's not a printers saw. It looks like a Euro saw thats been stripped down for a specific job. I wouldn't pay very much for it. Making it suitable for your needs may nickel & dime you to death.

That is a Green saw ;) Anything else at there that you are looking at?

I was bidding on an automatic dovetailer. Right now it's $1700 less than a new one and there's ten hours left. The one on the auction is mint, but that's too much money for something used.

It's a Robland tablesaw I think.

The Cantek? I was eyeing that until the bids went up so high.

Yep. It went way too high. Basically $2k less than a new one with the loading fee, buyers premium and sales tax. It was in really good shape, but for that kind of money, I'll pass. There was quite a few people bidding on it too which surprised me. The used equipment market has bounced back with a vengeance from what I've seen. I miss 08' prices, but not the lack of work that accompanied it.

99% sure that's a Robland. Or what's left of one. The scalloped handwheels are distinctive. Those feet for the casters have been welded on in addition to whatever they did to the cabinet. Never seen anyone do anything like that before.

Maybe it's a meat saw -- only a butcher would do what was done to that saw!
