I have made yet another cherry almost bowl333163333164 seems like this giant board that I made into blanks will keep me busy for a long while :)I did finally get the bowl gouge and I gotta say I love the way that thing works ! now i need 100 more I am so glad I started in this vortex! thank you all as usual !

That's a nice shape; sort of reminds me of the old fashioned brass spittoons you'd see on western movies. What size is it? And als nice juncture between sides and that flat bottom.

That is exactly what I thought when I saw it come off :) thank you very much its only about 3.5 maybe 4 inches tall I finished it with Tung oil , I have this big cherry board my dad milled and it cracked so I am able to get a blanks out of it but they aren't very big on top of that I only have a craftsman tube style lathe so I cant really turn Large ones but I'm really new at this so its probably better that I cant ...and safer too!!
