I got an email that said Jet was having a 15% off sale so I ordered a 6" jointer. NO MORE TOOLS for me! Had decided to not buy a jointer and then this sale shows up. Hope I made an okay choice. Originally I was going to buy a Grizzly and then decided to buy none and now buy this one.

Why did you decide you were not going to buy a jointer?

I had decided that I had spent too much money lately and just couldn't justify any more spending. I guess I must have decided I don't need to justify it! However, this is it!

OK, if you say so, but sounds like "Famous Last Words" to me. Good luck holding to that one.

I said that after buying my 6" Jet jointer too! Now I have a Hammer A3-31 scheduled to arrive next week!

A six inch jointer only makes you get a 12 inch jointer because why would you pay that much for an 8 inch jointer upgrade when you already have a 6 inch jointer - no way you will spend double for a 2" larger jointer. Yep you did it all right. Enjoy your new 12 inch jointer here in a couple years.

Oh wait that was just how I progressed in jointers.

Congrats!!!!

!
I don't know why people keep saying that. I've never had a need for anything more than an 8" jointer.

Yep, I still havent bought a jointer as I know how I am with upgrading and Im not going to waste money buying interim equipment. Im saving to go straight to the A3-31 too!

They got me on the air filtration system.

I was on the fence, saw it go from I think $370 to $314, and with no tax and free shipping. That's practically giving them away IMO. LOL

congra'ts! No more tools? I used to say that for years and then stopped saying it because it never holds.
went from a 6" bench-top to a floor model 6", and wanted to upgrade to 8" but then realized it won't be much of an upgrade. Went to a 14" J/P. Considered at some point a 20" J/P but was too busy with other things to spend the time and effort to change yet again....
