Clear Vinyl on Gold Rowmark (problem)

Hi

I am trying to make name badges to supplement my business. When I apply clear printed vinyl to the gold rowmark I am getting a mottled look which i think is from the glue as when I run my finger nail over the top is seems to get rid of it, but not completely. Has anyone got any experience with this and have any advice on how to apply the vinyl without get this problem.

Yes, that is typical. If you can heat the clear after applying it, without distorting the print (with a hair dryer) it can help. The best way to do this, though, is to print directly onto the Rowmark. I would handle it with screen printing, many at a time then cut the Rowmark.
