Hi!

I am looking for large vase inserts. I know of the "test tube" ones but I am looking for larger diameters (maybe 2" to 3") in metal or plastic.

Anyone know where I can get some on-line?

Thanks,

James :)

Google came up with this when I searched for vase inserts. However, they are glass.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, for what they call "export" orders, the minimum is $100.00 US.

Don't need that many. LOL! Would really like to find metal or plastic ones too.

Thanks for replying though.

James :)

Its acrylic and I am sure you could get this kind of stuff at Beds Bath and Beyound or other such stores. If you want a short one you could always buy the wine glass and turn off the stem. After all this is a turning forum !

James,

Though not exactly what you were looking for, there might be something at one of these suppliers.

James,

I am assuming you have a vase that needs an insert.

You need to be more specific with your size and shape of the vase inserts. the height of the insert is very important as well. You do not want the insert setting above the height of the vase.

Go to your local florist with the vase you have. They will be best able to match up a proper sized insert.

I know it sounds easy to go online and buy these inserts, but the shape of the vase will influence the shape of the insert. For example, if your vase tapers from 3" on top to 1.5" on the bottom etc. You want a snug fit. The florist will be able to come up with an option for you.

Thanks for the replies!

Yeah, I think a visit to the florist is a good idea. Will see where the closest one to me is.
