Hi, thanks for those who posted pictures of their cradles a while back. I used a plan from www.americanfurnituredsgn.com (http://www.americanfurnituredsgn.com)

The cradle is ash, the base, practice for my upcomin trestle table, red oak and the finish a stain and shellac. Now we are just waiting for the baby.

Oh - I am editing this because, it's not my baby, it's a friends....

This is response to a recent post about plywood drawers. I just made 8 for a customer and I use a simple rabbet and then glue and brad my drawers together. I thought that I would post a picture.

Here is my truck in this post (why can't I use the pictures again?)

http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=22684&page=2&pp=15

My truck is lettered, and on it is my cell number...so today, on my way to a very good friends house...I got a call "just saw you on the road, and I need some built ins.." Can't beat it.

This has been the 3rd or 4th call in 6 months...I was wondering who else uses this type of marketing?

Excellent Work, Gail!

Saw you on John Lucas' woodshopdemos web site and I'm glad to see you are really making it in the cabinet / furniture industry!

You do some fantastic work! I'll bet that truck is a real good advertisement for your business! It is just flashy enough to attract attention and you have labeled it well.

Good Luck and thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the post about the plywood drawers, that was me asking about them. I bought the plywood yesterday. I really wanted to use poplar but it finally came down to the mechanics of using poplar. I would need to resaw 1/2" poplar boards 7.25" tall. My BS can only resaw just under 6" so I would have to glue up panels just for drawer sides.

Good work on the cradle. You've got me thinking of building one for my brother when they have their first.
