Looking to get some affordable medium duty drawer slides, 10" full length. Any recommendations where to start looking. I am finding plenty that are $10+ a pair. That seems high to me.

Thanks for the help.

I bought full extension from Woodworker's Hardware. 10" slides should be less than $4 a pair.

Do you have any companies that sell cabinet hardware in your area? I have had an account at a few places for personal use and typically get KV slides in the $ 5 - 6 dollar range.

You might have to set up a cash account but it might be worth you time to see especially if you are needing items like glides, pull, hinges, laminate etc... a few times a year.

Try Woodworker Supply (http://woodworker.com/) or you can try the local big box stores.

$4.80 / pr. for excellent quality Fulterer 10" side-mount ball bearing slides.

Yes, but make sure to add in the shipping before ordering.

I just ordered 12 Blum 563 21" drawer slides and AH Turf wanted $90 shipping. I ended up ordering from Cabinetree.com even though they wanted a dollar more per slide (pair), because the shipping with them was only $60.

And their locking devices were cheaper. Significant savings.

Plus I made a mistake in placing my order so I emailed them late that night with the correction and literally got a response from a real person 3 minutes later. They shipped today and will be here Tuesday.

No connection with them whatsoever other than my order.

I've bought slides from Custom Service Hardware before and I'm very satisfied with the selection, quality, and price, here's a link for some euro type 10", 100# cap slides for $1.77 .per pair

Edit to add shipping for 20 pairs would be $9.

I buy from Lee Valley. Not the least expensive, but the quality is good and that's something I place value on.

Are the Lee Valley ones kind of a "house brand" where they don't make them, but they're consistently from the same manufacturer?

I honestly don't know the answer to the question. But it's never been an issue. As long as you are using pairs with similar characteristics and measuring for placement correctly...not really a problem unless you need to flip drawers around to different places.
