Since I last posted I ground away the dust on the stand and touched it up. I called Laguna customer service and they are sending some touch up paint so I can do a better job matching the color. Here's some pics of how I got the bandsaw up on the stand. I started by putting boards under it. Eventually they were high enough to move the saw onto my box support. I then put boards on top of the box and eventually got it as high as the stand.
This was a little crazy because I had to hold the bandsaw with one hand while slipping a board under it with the other. but it did work out. :p
